This term we have been writing narratives. We used The Game Of Awesome and The Literacy Shed to help come up with our stories. I really liked how there were no boundaries on what we could write about, but it had to be controlled. Next time I would like to describe more parts of my story with 'show don't tell'. Weeekend Journal #8
On Saturday I didn't do that much. On Sunday my family and I went to Christchurch, we stayed there for the whole day. On Monday we watched a Nepali movie that was about a monkey, other than that i didn't really do much on Monday.

Weekend Journal #7
On Friday after school my family went to a farm to collect fire wood, we were there from 4:30 to around 7. On Saturday we spent most of the day making dumplings since we were going to a potluck dinner, the potluck was quite boring since there weren't any kids that were my age there. On Sunday it was raining so we didn't do anything much.
